Aw, Shucks

I apologize for the ensuing confusion.

My theme song.

The song below truly defines me as a person. People all over the world, people who have never met me and have never even heard my name, undoubtedly think of me when they hear this happy-go-lucky little tune.

Mothers hum this song to their sleeping babies. It’s a family favorite at weddings and Bat/Bar Mitzvahs. Stadiums across the country have even started playing it in place of Take Me Out to the Ball Game.

It’s universally loved, is what I’m saying, just like me.

It’s like, if somebody took my personality and sliced it up into a million little pieces, and then those little pieces were somehow transformed into musical notes, and then those musical notes were for whatever reason kinda sweaty (but sweaty in a hot way, not sweaty in a gross way, obviously)? This would be the result.

Without further ado:

I love suggesting this song to people as a wedding first dance song. The title is so misleading.

This just came on my shuffled iTunes. And oddly, I thought of you. In a gross way, obviously.
